Textile Lubricants
Scourable PAG base oils for textile spinning, weaving, and finishing, clean wash-out, no staining, and consistent yarn quality.
Performance Advantages
Why PAG for Textile Lubricants
Scourability
PAGs wash out completely in standard textile scouring processes, leaving no residue on finished fabrics. This is critical for fabrics that undergo dyeing, printing, or coating after weaving.
No yellowing
PAG base oils do not cause yellowing of light-coloured or white yarns, unlike mineral oil-based spin finishes which can cause discolouration.
Consistent friction control
PAGs provide controlled friction between fibres and guides, ensuring consistent yarn tension and quality in high-speed spinning and weaving operations.
Low fogging
PAGs have low volatility, reducing fogging in downstream processing environments and improving workplace air quality.
Application Segments
Sub-Segments
Spinning
Yarn spinning (ring, rotor, air-jet); PAG-based spin finishes for friction control and fibre cohesion.
Product Range
Recommended PAG Grades
Typical grades for textile lubricants: PAG-WS 46, PAG-WS 68, PAG 32, PAG 46
Phenolic Antioxidant PH-15S
Sulfur-phenolic antioxidant specifically for PAG-based greases. Dual functionality (primary + secondary antioxidant) makes this the BEST antioxidant choice for PAG base oil greases. Treat rate: 0.3-0.5%.

Formulation Guidance
Compatible Additives
BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene)
0.1–0.3% for spin finish formulations
Non-silicone polymer-based
50–100 ppm for application systems where silicone interferes with downstream processing
Technical Reference
Technical Notes
Operating temperature range: ambient to 120°C. Water-soluble PAGs are preferred for textile applications due to their excellent scourability. Wash-out at 40–60°C with standard detergents. PAG residues do not interfere with dyeing or printing processes. Compatible with synthetic and natural fibre processing. Relevant standards: ISO 6743-6 (Textile machinery lubricants), OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (eco-textile requirements).
